New York is a very weird state when it comes to lab testing, they have a lot of odd laws about it. We likely will have to work with a local lab, but it really depends, either way we're happy to do it.
If you're not a TRT patient, it is generally just included in your initial consultation. The provider overseeing your care will want labs initially to see how you respond to treatment. From there, follow-up labs may be needed to dial you in, but often times if the case is clear-cut and you're feeling great there's really not a reason to keep having you be poked. How you feel on treatment is the number one concern.
